Kennedy Space Center

It was a beautiful and pleasant day to be in Florida on this day. This is the entrance into the Kennedy Space Center. Ross is standing in front of a life size replica of the Shuttle Explorer and the boosters

We were able to walk inside the Shuttle Explorer. Not much space

This is the NASA building where they build and repair the shuttles and booster rockers. The American Flag is the size of a basketball court to put the size of the building into perspective.
Launch pad with shuttle in place in preparation for the next launch.
Launch pad in the background with the shuttle in place preparing for launch on November 1, 2010
Replicas of the boosters on the Apollo 11 (they are huge)
Stage 1 on the Apollo 11
Stage 2 of the Apollo 11
Stage 3 replica of the Apollo 11

Replicas of all the different rockets and space ships the US has sent into outer space.
I could not even get in this small space where an astronaut sat after he re-entered the atmospher and waited for his rescuers to pick him up.
Ross is touching a rock taken from the moon!!!
